Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
Your name and contact information are not requested to view quotes. The quoter collects only six data points: gender, birth date, health status in your own words, cigarette use history, benefit amount desired, and years of coverage. Those answers alone produce carrier rates. Personal information including your name, home address, and detailed health history is requested only if you proceed with an application.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
They represent what the carriers will charge for the health level you indicated. The carrier's medical review will confirm, potentially enhance, or possibly adjust your health category, which determines your ultimate rate. No information here guarantees insurance coverage or promises any specific charge.
What happens when I click Apply?
You supply your name, and the specific quote you selected becomes the foundation of your application. The process then moves to the carriers' protected system. You're welcome to exit and come back anytime, and signing happens electronically through their platform. Susman Insurance Agency, a California-licensed firm (License 0B75129), oversees the application.
Will I need a medical exam?
The answer varies by carrier, the coverage amount you're requesting, and the responses you provide. Most carriers today provide expedited decisions for qualifying candidates—those within specific age and amount parameters can get approved immediately; each rate displayed indicates whether an exam is mandatory, possible, or not needed.
Is a longer term better?
A term protects you during the years when dependents, debts, or business interests would suffer from missing your income: a mortgage balance, dependent children, or entrepreneurial liabilities. Extending a term raises the monthly payment but keeps your rate locked longer. The quoter allows you to examine periods of ten, fifteen, twenty, twenty-five and thirty years all at once.
Does this site sell my information?
No, we do not. The quoter does not ask for personal identifiers, we keep no customer information, and our tracking doesn't use cookies or similar techniques. Details about what we measure and who can see it are documented on the privacy policy.
